The dashboard shows a detailed analysis of Cardano stakepools and relates metrics to their state of saturation.

This dashboard is in active development and considered beta state.
We would like to hear your experience.
  • Every Cardano mainnet pool, every completed epoch since Shelley (epoch 208), binned by saturation % (active stake ÷ saturation cap, 0-150%+ in 5%-wide bins). A pool's bin can change over its life — an epoch's stats land in whichever bin the pool was actually in that epoch, not wherever it sits today.
  • Goal: let pool operators benchmark what moving toward a different saturation level would likely do to their blocks/delegators/earnings, and let delegators pick a saturation tier matching their own risk tolerance (e.g. accept a 75%-saturated pool instead of chasing a 95-100% one).
  • leader_margin = pool's margin take (declared fixed cost excluded, shown separately). total_operator = fixed cost + margin + pledge.
  • delegator_return_pct = member rewards ÷ active stake (blended — includes the owner's own pledge-stake as a delegator to their own pool).
  • owner_return_pct = pledge rewards ÷ the owner's actual stake delegated to their own pool that epoch (not the declared pledge minimum — owners often delegate more than they declared, which would otherwise inflate this %), only where that stake is > 0.
  • performance_pct = blocks minted ÷ blocks expected (stake-weighted share of network blocks that epoch) — "luck". stddev of this within a bin measures consistency, not just average luck.
  • delegator_return_risk_adjusted = avg delegator return % ÷ its stddev within the bin — a yield-vs-reliability metric, highest is "best".
  • margin_deviation_pct = effective margin % (what operators actually realized) minus declared margin % — closest to zero is "most honest."
  • Concentration is tracked two ways: how many delegators it takes to reach the top 1/10/20/50% of a pool's stake (lower = more concentrated), and what % of stake the top 1/10/20/50% of delegators (by count) hold (higher = more concentrated).
  • Figures are estimates derived from db-sync; see the methodology notes inline with each statistic before relying on exact values.
